The ADHD Weasel · Apply It
Who, when, and the thing you would take to the first one. Free for everyone this week, along with the issue.
One
The one that has been sitting on the desk. Whatever came to mind first is the right one.
Tick what is true of it.
Two
Whatever you ticked, this is the part that fixes it. Pick the version most likely to happen.
Three
Tick one or two you will use. The line under each one is where it becomes a plan.
Whichever you pick, say the task out loud before you start. Not some admin. The car registration.
And exactly what you will do
It has been studied. In a 2023 survey of 220 people, most of them neurodivergent, 186 said they were more likely to finish a task working alongside someone else. What they described was company and less dread at the start.
What we do understand is the piece underneath. Your brain prices a consequence by how soon it lands, and nobody notices whether the file gets opened on Tuesday. Borrowing somebody's presence for forty-five minutes is the same kind of tool as the alarm clock nobody thinks less of you for owning.
Your plan
Nothing about the task changed on Wednesday. Nothing about you changed either.
